This wine is straw yellow in color, with a very intense aroma, revealing the aromatic complexity that is due to the particular aging conditions and the characteristics of the Encruzado variety. On the nose, the superior integration of aromas from the French oak where it matured stands out. In the mouth, the attack is intense, voluminous, revealing a lively acidity.

Vinification: Made from grapes from the old vines of Quinta da Teixuga, with a predominance of the Encruzado variety, this wine fermented in a first phase in stainless steel vats, subject to temperature control, ending fermentation in new 300 liter French oak barrels , where he interned for another 19 months. During aging, “bâtonnage” was carried out periodically, in order to obtain the optimal integration of the wine with the wood. After bottling, this wine aged for another 12 months in the bottle. Thus, given the particular aging conditions and the characteristics so typical of the Encruzado variety, this is a wine with great aging capacity.
