VINIFICATION

The grapes from the Talhão in the Pedras vineyard were harvested at a high state of maturation, into small boxes and immediately transported to the cellar, where they were immediately cooled down to a temperature of 10ºC. Afterwards, they were destemmed and trodden on foot for 3 days. Alcoholic fermentation took place at controlled temperatures of 24ºC in a small fermentation vat, fermentation was stopped with the addition of Wine Spirit at 77% alc/vol, after intense foot treading. Finally, the wine aged for 16 months in new barrels.

TEST RESULTS

A complex, sweet wine, rich in aromas of ripe black fruit and very intense on the palate.
