This Tawny Port was produced exclusively with grapes from Quinta da Romaneira, having been vinified in mills in the traditional way.
CASTES
Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca.
VINIFICATION
The grapes were crushed using traditional treading and vinified in stainless steel vats. The fermentation temperature oscillated between 25 and 28 degrees centigrade. Stage in barrels or oak vats.
TEST RESULTS
This wine is the result of a blend produced from very elegant wines aged in barrels for about five years. It has a bright and elegant red color resulting from the reduced contact between the skins and the pulp during fermentation. On the nose it is more complex than ruby, with aromas of fresh fruit and a touch of raspberry. On the palate it is slightly sweet, fruity and rich.
