Vinha Grande White is Casa Ferreirinha's first white wine and is characterized by its aromatic intensity, which defines it in a very elegant way.
CASTES
40% Viosinho, 30% Arinto, 15% Rabigato, 10% Gouveio, 5% Códega.
VINIFICATION
Grapes from selected varieties from Quinta do Sairrão. On this farm, the white grape varieties are planted at high altitude, where temperatures are milder, thus obtaining grapes with the desired maturation and acidity. After gentle destemming, the grapes are subjected to skin maceration and then pressed. After decanting at a low temperature, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels, at a controlled temperature between 14ºC-18ºC.
TEST RESULTS
Bright citrine color with slight golden nuances. Aroma of very good intensity, with floral notes, white fruits, slightly bushy, stony and with a discreet wood very well integrated. In the mouth it has a good volume, well-matched lively acidity, floral notes, citrus and with an excellent harmony finish.
