A white with exquisite unctuousness and sweetness, made like its counterparts and inspired by the famous Sauternes with the Sémillon – or Boal do Douro – variety, the bunches being harvested not at the usual harvest time, but purposely later, only and when the grapes are botrytized.
CASTES
Sémillon or Boal do Douro.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE
11ºC.
VINIFICATION
Fermentation in stainless steel. Stage in used French oak barrels for 12 months.
TEST RESULTS
Bright color, golden straw, vivid. In the very exuberant nose, it presents citrus notes, with hints of fig; honey with some apricot. Very pleasant in the mouth, it is fresh and full, not too sweet, which gives it a smooth finish and a very complex finish.
