VINIFICATION
The hand-picked grapes were vinified according to the traditional Port Wine method. After gentle crushing with partial destemming, alcoholic fermentation follows with maceration to obtain the greatest possible extraction of the constituents of the skins. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperature, being stopped by the addition of wine brandy at the moment considered ideal by the winemaker, considering the grape varieties, degree of maturation and desired sweetness. The final balance between the body and aroma of Port Wine comes from the combination of the different characteristics of the multiple varieties of grapes used.
TEST RESULTS
Red in color with golden nuances and a fresh and delicate aroma of spices and dried fruit acquired during aging in oak wood. In the mouth it is an elegant wine, which presents a good balance between ripe tannins and sweetness, which gives it a persistent and attractive finish.
