"From the Latin clandestinus. In secret; made secretly; without anyone knowing; hidden; which is contrary to laws or morals. Planted in the open and in the heart of Dão, the grapes that make up this Clandestino have a distant origin. Done In an accomplice way, by all those who harvested and worked them, this wine proves to be fresh, gluttonous, enigmatic and even – as gossip says – immoral."
TEST RESULTS
From two international varieties, fermented together, a clandestine wine is born. From a variety known for its more aromatic personality with hints of ripe white fruit and the other more austere and delicate with light floral touches that thus contribute to the harmony of this Clandestino. In the mouth, the volume and density of one contrast harmoniously with the firmness and restraint of the other.
