VINIFICATION
The grapes are harvested at low temperatures, to be selected manually on tables, under strict quality control. Then, the chosen ones are cold macerated. What was obtained is fermented in stainless steel tanks for a few days. Thus, over time, it passes through oak barrels, where it will be kept for several months, seeking to improve the quality of the wine. Time concluded, clarified and bottled. Before entering the market, it spends months in the bottle.
TEST RESULTS
Inky, opaque in the center with a narrow purple rim. Stunning Taylor's style, elegant and precise. The nose is full of very fine and linear fruit, intoxicating and complex, but contained by a graphite minerality. Quinta da Vargellas bestowed its brand with the characteristic fragrance of violets, which hovers like a perfumed veil over the wine, with discreet notes of citrus fruits, wild herbs and rock rose. The nose is still restrained, but with impressive depth and structure, with hints of complexity yet to emerge. In the mouth the wine is cohesively linked by agile and muscular tannins, firm and very connected, ending with a powerful wave of fresh and very pure berries. A beautifully crafted wine, with the distinctive Taylor's poise and elegance and the tantalizing promise of pleasures yet to come.
