Sardón is a red wine from the DO VT Castilla-León produced by the Quinta Sardonia winery. This wine is predominantly made with Tempranillo and small amounts of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.
The grapes used to produce this wine come from vines that are over 35 years old, including vines that are over a century old. The vines grow in clayey and sandy soils.

VINIFICATION
After the harvest, the vinification process begins with the grapes subjected to a brief incubation at a controlled temperature. This is done with the aim of minimal extraction of the grape, which allows for a fruity and aromatic character of the grapes.
Aged for 12 months, spending 6 months in French oak barrels (2nd use), followed by 6 months in stainless steel and concrete tanks.
TEST RESULTS
Coberot garnet enormous strength and red glow. Aroma of very fresh red fruits, blackberries, cherries and a hint of thyme. On the palate good balance between red fruit, acidity and tannins, ripe and smooth, a long and silky drink.
