Cachaça Sagatiba Aged is the expression of the traditional with the modern. Handmade, in small batches in the interior of Minas Gerais, Brazil, its process has been perfected to create a unique liquid.
Fresh sugarcane is ground in less than 24 hours after harvesting, fresh. It is fermented with a unique yeast, distilled in a copper still and aged for at least two years in American oak barrels, with intense roasting (ex-Bourbon). This allows the liquid to penetrate the wood, extracting more flavor, aroma and color.
