It is, moreover, the only genuinely monastic liquor in Portugal, entirely and exclusively prepared by the monks of the Monastery of Singeverga, and by direct distillation of aromatic plants. As an aperitif, on the reverse side, it is delicious chilled or with ice.
Its creation involves the direct distillation of various spices and numerous aromatic plants, endowed with therapeutic and balsamic properties according to an ancient formula, the result of prolonged and patient experiments.
