It results from a rigorous selection of the best Port wines of each year, and is made up of more than 10 grape varieties, with Touriga Franca being the dominant variety.
CASTES
Touriga Franca (45%) with other varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Amarela and Sousão.
VINIFICATION
After crushing and thermal shock, vinification was carried out by foot treading in granite vats and lasted for three days, until the sugar content of the must dropped to the required level. It was then transferred to the aging vats and at the same time brandy was added to stop fermentation. A rigorous selection of the best wines resulted in the final blend.
TEST RESULTS
Deep colored wine, with a powerful attack, full of intensity, where you can easily find fresh fruity notes. It is very well structured which will make it age very well.
