Herdade Vale d'Évora is located a few kilometers from the beautiful village of Mértola, in the lower Alentejo. It is part of the Guadiana Valley Natural Park.

Discord wines are produced from grapes harvested in a 10-hectare vineyard overlooking the wild landscape of Herdade Vale d'Évora. Like the Douro, the schist soils and the harsh climate of the region make the vineyard live on the edge and in a struggle for survival, resulting in this condition airy fruit, with good concentration and structure. The proximity to the Guadiana river provides the touch of acidity that matters for the final balance of the wine.

As Tourigas da Discórdia 2019 Tinto 0,75 LT

O novo tinto da Herdade Vale d´Évora é um blend das castas Touriga Nacional e Touriga Franca, colhidas na Herdade Vale d’Évora, raro no Alentejo. As duas Tourigas revelaram uma complementaridade fascinante quando a equipa Discórdia juntou lotes de vinho de cada uma das castas, assim nascendo um blend raro no Alentejo.

Produced from the selection of grapes harvested at Herdade Vale d´Évora. Wine aged for 18 months in 300 liter French oak barrels. Very floral wine, with intensity and fat and a very characteristic dryness that accentuates the Mértola wine character.

Produced from the selection of grapes harvested at Herdade Vale d´Évora. Blend wine with a predominance of the Arinto variety (about 65%) and presence of the Verdelho and Antão Vaz varieties. End of fermentation and aging for eight months in barrels.
