Spanish white wine, produced by Bodegas Campillo in Rioja.
CASTES
Viura, Chardonnay
SERVICE TEMPERATURE
7-10th
VINIFICATION
Manual harvest so that the grape arrives intact at the cellar to prevent uncontrolled fermentation of the must. After being peeled and crushed, it was covered and cold macerated for 26 hours. Fermentation took place in 100 new French oak barrels for 20 days. Then, in the same barrels, it remained in reproduction on lees for 3-4 months, with periodic "batonages".
TEST RESULTS
Clean, bright, straw yellow with a greenish sheen. The nose is broad, with sweet, mellow notes. The barrel is present for the aromas of vanilla. In the background you can see a floral touch, of white flowers. On the palate it is round, homogeneous, elegant, with good acidity. In the end, there are slight notes of toast. Long finish, the memories are kept in the vanilla of the barrel.
