The work from the beginning has always focused on the search for old vines in the most genuine and least explored places in the Douro, where there are new stories to tell in the form of wine.

It was at the foot of the Serra do Reboredo (1,000 m high), in Paredes da Beira, at the highest point in the Douro, that it all began. Surrounded by an abundance of granite outcrops, the area has sandy granite soils interspersed with quartz veins,
