Wine Indigenus is an innovative wine project that, as its name implies, from indigenous Latin, originates in Terras de Mogadouro, a name perfectly given to the first wine that was born here.

The village of Mogadouro, where the vineyards overlooking the castle are strategically located, and the winery in the Industrial Zone, is part of the demarcated region of Trás-os-Montes, sub-region of Planalto Mirandês, and its plantation history of vineyards and wine production, although forgotten in time, has a secular origin that dates back to Roman and pre-Roman times, as innate conditions have always been present here that determine the distinctive characteristics and quality of these wines.
